Original criticism
The original ringdown-suppression formula predicted maximal deviation from GR for ordinary, low-mass black holes and vanishing deviation for the high-mass regime the theory is specifically meant to describe — backwards from the physical scenario the chapter itself sets up.
Response & evidence
Corrected in v2 (patch A03): the formula's asymptotic behavior was inverted to match the mass-trend the chapter actually argues for.
