Pre-Physical Selection
An ontological account of world-selection: physical reality is proposed not as a brute given, but as the outcome of maximizing a functional Ξ over a space of possible worlds — favoring internal consistency, structural stability, and generative richness over triviality, divergence, or unnecessary complexity.
